                               Queen of Heaven, rejoice, alleluia!

                          V. Because the Lord is truly risen, alleluia.

     The Regina Cæli is a beautiful prayer to our Blessed Mother Mary who stood by her Son through His passion and death but now rejoices over His resurrection. During the Easter season we recite this special prayer to our heavenly Mother that through her intercession we too may share in the joys of eternal life. As the Mother of God she is a model for all of us that we may follow her example of faith and love.

 

     To honor all mothers we are offering a Novena of Nine Holy Masses that will begin on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13, 2012. To have your mother, or that of a loved one, entered on the list of those we pray for, please fill out the Mother’s Day Novena reply form. If you wish to have more than one person prayed for, simply add their names in the spaces provided so that we may also include them in the Mother’s Day Novena. Since we will be transferring the names onto our enrollment list, please write as clearly as possible.
